Thackery Museum Paranormal Investigation

The Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds was built in 1858 originally as a workhouse to accommodate poor and homeless people but by the end of the 19th century, it had become largely used for medical care of the poor. The building was once hit by a typhus epidemic that killed many people and several spooky sightings have since been reported.

Brief Summary of Paranormal Activity

This was the first time we utilised a new members mediumship skills and to great advantage. Stu’s interaction and guidance on the entities that reside here was most astonishing and very accurate.

Many intelligent and residual evps were captured here and cold spots, disembodied voices and sounds plus orbs. This place has very high levels of paranormal activity interaction from many different entities and spirits.

Stu made predictions during evp sessions that had compelling truth when responses came out and stories enfolded during the investigation they were remarkable.

Equipment utilised for this investigation is as follows: night vision cameras, rempods, k2s Mg meters and proximity sensor teddy bear, along with evp recorders Panasonic and Tascam and sb7 spirit box.

Verdict and Conclusion


Our Rating

This investigation was littered with much sadness and one case of a suicide. Strong energies were felt and much evidence of a compelling nature captured.

This is a place of many sad entities and protection is required for potential tags from wretched tormented souls. We know Stu had a female entity follow him home and he had to deal with that situation with his skills.

This place as very high levels of paranormal activity and many sad stories within its walls continue. Respect and caution when investigating is of extreme importance.
